Lockstone
Lockstone is a modular walling system characterised by hollow concrete 'cells' that can be interlocked to form complex horizontal and vertical curves.
The blocks, once dry-laid, can be filled with either topsoil, gravel or concrete and can be built with either the curved or split face showing depending on the application requirements. In addition, Lockstone is available in several colour options, providing a universal appeal for all tastes.
When filled with soil and planted with ground cover shrubs, the Lockstone system provides a naturally 'green' and aesthetically pleasing solution to slope retention problems.
Applications for Lockstone include:
- Retaining walls for commercial and retail outlets; creating additional space for parking or for the building footprint.
- Retaining walls for house building schemes, increasing garden size and forming plateaus to maximise the number of houses.
- Flood protection bunds and river bank support.
- Garden improvement for private domestic use.
